Drill the Shape

Drill the Shape is a precision-based puzzle game where you control a drill navigating the edges of various shapes.
Your goal: carefully trace each shape's outline to achieve the highest possible accuracy — the cleaner your drilling, the better your score.  With 30 unique shapes to master, your precision and control will be put to the test.

How to Play:
Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move. 
Follow the shape’s outline as closely as you can. 
When you cross the outline for the first time, you create your finish line (dark yellow-ish color). 
You’ll need to reach at least 80% accuracy to unlock the next shape. 
Press R to give up and restart.

Development
This game was created as a submission for OLC CodeJam 2025, and was built using C++ with the olcPixelGameEngine by OneLoneCoder

Post-submission updates:

• Web build added via Emscripten.
• Switched SFX library; fixed sound bugs.
• Reworked two shapes for better balance.
• Fixed rare player stuck-on-start bug. 
• New index.html included for Emscripten/web build.
• Added volume slider after some complains from friends.
• Added by request visual feedback to show what’s accurate vs. inaccurate.
